Well Hello and Happy New Year! I hope you all are putting yourself first, yep it's okay to do that now a days. What you think about, do during the day and how you respect your body are the best things you can do for yourself.
I had the pleasure of working on a few Habitat for Humanity homes on Nogales Hwy today, Jan 11, 2025, it was a great build of 8 duplexes. I helped put the block boards up so the walls could be attached to the sides. Met some great women and some kind men. It just so happened to also be the Habitat's celebration of President Jimmy Carter and what he has done for this great organization around the world. He truly lived what he taught & talked and for quite a long time as well, 100 years. We all got to sign a wall in these homes. When I drive by later on I will remember how good it feels to know I helped in a very small way.
What can you do to help others? May be as simple as a quiet ear listening.
